Are you Easter picnic ready? Do you fancy impressing the family with matching hats?

In this workshop you will discover how quickly you can sew up a bucket hat using very little fabric. It is the perfect scrap busting project. You will be able to choose what size hat to sew up on the day but will go away with the skills and pattern to make other sizes.

What to expect

Key skills

– Choosing your pattern size (New born – extra large adult)

– Cutting accurately using a rotary cutter and mat

– Sewing neat seams

– ‘Bagging out’ (to achieve a seamless lining)

– Top stitching to get that professional finish

Expert tuition, the use of lovely sewing machines and  a supportive environment with drinks and snacks to keep you going.

What to bring:

You will need to bring your own choice of fabric and thread.  Details will be sent out on booking the course and I can supply these if necessary.
