This class is perfect for those who just need to learn or refresh the basics needed to look after their clothes and other textile belongings. This is a great class when going off to college or before going travelling. Equally, it is suited to those who have just never learnt the basics.

What to bring:

You do not need to bring anything to this class! The cost of the class includes a small travel sewing kit which you will take away with you.

What to expect

In this class, no sewing machines are used. You will be taught:

– How to thread a needle
– How to sew on a button or press stud
– How to do a few basic stitches – starting and finishing
– How to repair a hem
– How to repair a small rip
