What to expect

These ‘sewcial’ sewing sessions are for those who wish to tackle a specific sewing project but would like the luxury of space and time carved out in the week, away from home and with a little bit of support and company.

You can book these via email or on this website. Book week by week or book a block of 4 weeks with a 10% discount (use coupon code block4). Bring your own pattern, ideas and fabric and work at your own pace.

If you book onto these sessions, you will have the use of all the equipment in the Sew Mindful studio: sewing machines, overlockers, cutting tables. Interfacing and calico is available to buy by the metre too and there is always a supply of fabric scraps and rescued notions.

The emphasis is on mutual support whatever your skill level. There will be a maximum of four places per week. It is not a taught session, but I shall be on hand to guide you through any tricky bits of patterns as needed. There will tea available and The Fold Café provides delicious coffee and food.
