Festive Sew along Christmas Stocking – weekday evening

Fancy making a special Christmas stocking for someone in your life? This is the workshop for you. Get into the Christmas mood and come along for a Festive Sew.

In this workshop, you will be taught how to make a lovely, lined Christmas stocking which, depending on how fast you sew, can be personalised or decorated. We’ll pop on some Christmas tunes and get into the seasonal spirit. You will go away with the pattern and instructions for making lots more, so no-one feels left out! Beginner friendly!

This is a perfect project for re-purposing old unwanted textiles. There will be plenty of used textiles available for you to upcycle, or you may prefer to bring your own new fabric or something from your stash (50cm of outer and 50cm of lining fabric should be enough). No need to bring your sewing machine – use one of ours!

What to bring:

No need to bring anything, but you may prefer to choose your own fabric and bring that. Remember to bring matching thread if you do this. There will be tea and coffee available but there is also a lovely café on site serving delicious food and drinks.
